It’s sometimes hard to believe places like this exist, but then, there it is. Taken in what was near darkness to my eyes. If you zoom into the deep shadows of Mitre Peak you may be able to glimpse some people sitting on deck chairs soaking up the last light of the day.
With @purephotoadventures.nz we visit Milford Sound on both our Autumn 2019 tours. On the 7 day trip we stay the night and get to shoot sunset, astro, and sunrise!!
12 years ago I came to sydney as a young sailor straight out of Cerberus I was pretty much like a deer in headlights coming from tasmania to this massive city, the next 12 years would would contain the highest of highs and the lowest of lows and everything in between
But I have absolutely loved living in Sydney and will never forget the feeling I had when after my first big deployment in 06 with the navy we sailed back into Sydney heads just before xmas and saw the harbour bridge and opera house and i realised from that moment that Sydney will always hold a special place in my heart
Today we leave Sydney for the last time to start the next chapter of our lives in Melbourne, with any luck in 2 months we will move into our new dream house and Deacon will be starting school and making new friends.
I am looking forward to what the future brings and living closer to family for the first time in 14 years.
See ya later Sydney, I'm sure we will be back for a visit.
If anyone has some tips on photography locations around the mornington peninsula DM me.
