Meet Callie ❤️ This poor girl was completely wrapped up in fruit netting that was loosely hanging on a tree and the ground. In the first photo you can see the netting stuck in her mouth, in the second photo you can see it is wrapped around her neck and head, and in the fourth photo you can see how the netting is wrapped tightly around her wing constricting blood flow. She was terrified of me, but as soon as I started freeing her first wing, she relaxed completely and let me carefully cut her free. It is so beautiful feeling the shift in their trust towards you. I've given her medication, and I'll be taking her to the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital on Monday. Unfortunately she will probably have a lot of damage in the weeks to come as their wing membrane dies back, but I am very hopeful. If you use fruit netting on your fruit trees, please make sure it is tightly secured and that you can't put your finger through the hole. But if you can, please share your fruit with our wildlife as they are all starving in this drought ❤️

All set for tomorrow's Etsy shop update 🌱 16Feb 9am SGT (GMT+8) 🌱 Which tiny treasure is your favourite? I think that speckled leaping sun moon fox is a big one for me, might have even kept one for myself 🌚 These are pretty much all the necklace varieties heading into the shop. I'll share a preview in my stories today as well so stay tuned if you'd like to see. Thank you everyone and have a beautiful day!
