It’s not all about that scale or a number. It’s about how you feel! And sometimes ya feel like taking a mirror picture 😉
I’ve struggled with looking at myself in the mirror since I was a little kid. I could never look at my face. I’d look to the side or not focus on my face.
If I looked at my face then I’d immediately start looking for flaws. It was too round. My cheeks were too full. My forehead was too big & wide. My smile was crooked. My skin was bumpy or blotchy.
Then I’d go down to my body. My shoulders were too broad. I saw my arm pit fat. My breaths were too big. My arms were large.
I was self destructing myself. Lowering my confidence. Hurting myself before anyone else could. I thought I was protecting myself but I wasn’t.
Still to this day I find myself wanting to slip into old habits but moments like these are so important to me.
I feel confident. I feel proud of my growth - inner and outer.
