Although this is true, if we practice positive self-talk and focusing less on the negatives, our mind will start to believe it! Płaski brzuch robimy w kuchni. Większość z nas gdzieś to chyba już słyszała i coś w tym jest, bo nieważne jak duży i mocny masz sześciopak, jeśli przykryty jest pierzynką 😅
Wypełnienie brzucha też nie jest bez znaczenia. Rano brzuch wygląda zupełnie inaczej niż wieczorem. O ile z tym można jeszcze coś zrobić w krótkim czasie, to już z zalegającą oponką jest trudniej.
Najczęstszy nasz problem w walce z tłuszczem jest podjadanie. Najchętniej podjadamy wieczorem (bo mamy nieograniczony dostęp do kuchni) oraz w pracy (paradoksalnie, bo nie mamy dostępu do naszej kuchni 🤪) Wieczorem to już kwestia naszej silnej woli i zajęcia się czymś innym. Nie możesz chodzić głodna, ale nie idź spać obdarta.
W pracy nie zawsze mamy możliwości sięgnięcia po coś zdrowego i sięgamy po to co jest, bo jesteśmy głodne, a zwyczajnie przeszkadza nam to w pracy.
Rozwiązaniem sytuacji jest szykowanie sobie posiłku do pracy. Nie mówię jednak o szykowaniu posiłku rano - ja choć pracuje w domu nie miałabym czasu i chęci rano szykować sobie coś do pracy, zwłaszcza teraz gdy Kasia nie śpi po nocach. Lepiej jest przygotować coś wieczorem i to na kilka dni tak by rano jedynie wyjąc z lodówki i bez większego zamieszania z minimalnym nakładem pracy, zabrać ze sobą.
Dziś wieczorem wrzucę tu przepis na fajny lunch box do pracy, który możesz przygotować wieczorem od razu na 5 dni!

It can definitely be hard to keep being you during pregnancy. Not many women talk about it but it’s one of the most common side effects & many women struggle with this feeling. It’s important to remember your own identity- just because you’re expecting doesn’t mean you have to stop being you! When I was doing the Valentine’s Day party with the 4th graders I had today I was thinking to myself, “man I’m so glad they’re gonna be all sugared up with their parents tonight vs at school.” 😂 oh silly, Brittany. Some days, this is what my best effort at a workout looks like. I'm wearing a resistance band outfit designed by my toddler. I did bodyweight lunges and mini band exercises but I had to break them up throughout my crazy day. I spent most of the time I was trying to workout grabbing the baby, who was trying to stand on the piano, and had to try hard not to trample anyone or slip on a toy instrument. That is some sexy fitness for ya.
Done is better than perfect. Legs were still on 🔥🔥🔥.

Everyone has “something” they are known, or maybe recognized for. In the small proximity of the town in which I reside, mine is my hair.
How that happened is still a bit of a mystery. It’s not exceptional. It changes color often, and the bigger/ taller it gets the more days have likely passed since I cared to wash it.
I used to wish for Blake Livley hair. Or something, hell anything, that had more volume, texture and density then what I’ve got. For as much attention as it seems to get me, my hair is something that usually pisses me off more often then it makes me happy. I’d shave my head some days if I knew my husband wouldn’t question if I’d finally gone off the deep end.
It’s also something EVERYONE loves to have an opinion about. “You should do this with it” or “It looks better THIS color”, or my personal favorite from a client “I can only train with a blonde”. Blah blah blah blah. #kthanksbye
Want to know the real deal? My hair is short, a sassy pixie when asked to describe it, because it’s EASY. It’s simple. It shows my personality. Cut frequency and color aside it requires a minimal amount of up keep.
Life is too short, and I have too many things I want to do. Spending more then 5 minutes a day on my hair is just unappealing and not for me.

Someone woke up with a stuffy nose 🤧. I’ve been letting him smell the bottle, diffusing, put a drop on his neck, and touched the well just to get the little excess that was there (waaaay less than a drop) and put it on the bridge of his nose. I’m so thankful to have Sniffleease today 💙

Now that my first trimester is over and my nausea is (mainly) gone I’m focusing on making this pregnancy better than the last. By this time with Kam I had pretty much stopped working out and hated how I felt and looked by the end of it. These 20 minute workouts have been such a lifesaver! I’ve been modifying a lot more than I’d like but that’s to be expected!

Rounds then Rae woke up super hungs and wanted to eat IMMEDIATELY. Haha
I am still learning. I really prefer to get my workout out of the way ideally first thing in the morning, but definitely in the earlier part of the day. Not ‘out of the way’ like get it over with. Just out of the way was in get it done so it doesn’t get missed ! But I’m going to need to be more flexible on that. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen in the morning!!! That shouldn’t mean I miss my workout. I AM all about the ‘something is better than nothing’ mentality. And today. 3 rounds had to do!

The CrossFit open season starts next week. So today I double dipped with my programming and then joined the class wod.
15.2 - the only time I did this I got 37 reps. I could barely do C2B. Today, my C2B were so inconsistent but I was able to get 127 reps.
11.2 - I have never done before. So it was a good test. I was able to use all the pacing work from the last month to start at 80% and push at the end. So I am happy with that.
I’m in love with this picture of our sanctuary, the place we call home, this is such an amazing little oasis, with the weather being as bad as is has this last month Im so thankful for this space that we call home. Pre morning walk smiles, going into my walk with positive vibes, it’s a beauty morning the 🌞 is shinning!!!! Was a toughie trying to push my daughter up the hill whilst carrying 14kgs of love on your upset puku but we did it!
