There has been so many things I’ve learned since starting my fitness journey. I used to think if I didn’t have abs year round I wasn’t truly fit. I used to think that if I didn’t track every crumb I wasn’t staying on track. The truth is that health is so much more than what your physical body shows. True health really comes when your mental health and physical health are working together. Once I found my balance with LIFE and fitness the journey became so much more enjoyable and attainable long term-not stressful. I still track macros because I do think it’s a great way to reach your goals while being able to add in “fun foods”. For me it helps me to find balance without binging on treats OR completely restricting myself. However I think that if we can reach the point of focusing on fueling our body with whole, nutrient dense foods most of the time, and also getting in some kind of exercise 4-6 days per week it will take a lot of mental stress off. People tend to over complicate the whole “heath and fitness” thing always thinking “I can’t have that” or setting unrealistic goals for them selves. Stop over complicating the process! Start by creating a few new good habits each week- rather than going from 0-100 overnight (trust me it never sticks). What new goal are you going to stick to this week?

Well, it’s that time...
Currently sitting at the airport with my Dumbo Pillow Pet on my lap, waiting to board my plane to Paris🤩🤩
It still doesn’t feel real.
So many thoughts going through my head.
So many emotions that I’m feeling.
I’m both excited and nervous.
Hopeful and uncertain.
Curious and ambitious.
I’d be lying if I said I was totally ready.
The truth is, I don’t think I ever will truly be ready.
But that’s okay- it’s not a bad thing. ✨Especially because I’m doing it!✨
For real, even if we don’t feel 100% ready to do something that’s good for us, by going and actually doing it, we are making ourselves stronger and pushing ourselves to be the best we can be.
This is COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone, but like I said on January 1st: “2019 is the year of anti-comfort zones”
And OH BABY will the next few months be fulfilling that montra🙈
Things are definitely going to be different but GUYS, I have so much in store for you all!! This adventure is about to be UNREAL and can’t wait to share it with you all 🥰
