My last few runs starting from most recent. My runs have definitely been getting faster and faster and I'm pretty happy. My foot was feeling funky, but just recently I've adopted the "fuck it" idea, but don't kill yourself idea. I've been trying to train hard to finally be back on track.
Once next summer comes, my progression will be explosive. Next summer is for me to rebuild the base I would've had now, and with that I will start progressing quick. I'll go to nationals Jr and Senior year, if not just Senior year. All in all I just wanna be there.
My run today was kinda hard, I could keep up this pace, but I went too fast to start. That wouldn't have been a problem had I actually ate something in the morning. Making me feel weak, having stomach pain and feeling like throwing up. But hey, at least my foot doesn't hurt.
I'm going to keep on working hard to achieve my dream and keep moving forward. If anyone can help me with track questions message me. I need all the help I could get and all is appreciated.
THIRD TIME MAKING THIS POST, since I posted the wrong pics.
Well... running on a Saturday afternoon was not exactly my plan for a fun run. But it was then or never. I was tired, it was hot, and that is perfect combination for a tough run. Honestly, this week was mentally hard to get every single one of my runs done. But hey, at least today I earned a badge of my fastest 10K. That’s how bad I wanted to get it over with😂 6.22 miles in total and now I’m off to rest and enjoy the rest of my weekend🏃🏻♀️
O.M.G Amazing how great this workout felt!! I was tired 💤 and I was moody 👿all morning for lack of sleep and single parenting two hyper children! All I wanted to do was skip this speed work and take a nap. .
My legs were sore all day yesterday and this morning and I was thinking of every excuse!! .
Training plan called for 8x 1200 @8:24 with 1 min rest.
I can NOT believe how smooooth this felt. I kept waiting to feel a burn but only started feeling my levels drop slightly by rep 6 ....but at that point I was already nearing the end!! 🎯 bullseye I nailed these paces and was beyond shocked how 10 miles just flew by..
