The past couple of months, I haven't had that many opportunities to go on photo walks around Rome. Sometimes I just get too busy to pick up the camera when the light is nice and head out to wander around, sometimes the weather isn't great (torrential downpours are photogenic but uncomfortable), and sometimes I'm just flat-out too lazy. That's a valid excuse too, right? But with the days starting to get a bit longer again and the weather having been so nice lately, I'm starting to get back into the habit. And every time I dedicate an hour or two to wandering my way through the city with my camera, I remember exactly why this is something I love doing so much.
Taking photos of yourself can be hard when travelling solo. Which is why you won’t often see photo of myself appearing on my Instagram feed or blog.
For now, this is as good as it’s going to get. Until I find my insta-husband (or any husband) 😂
After 5 glorious days in Rome, this morning I packed up and have moved further south - to Napoli! 🍕 I’ve already indulged in one glorious pizza, which has probably ruined all other pizza for me. I plan to do nothing more than eat my way around the city (and also visit a few archeological sites in between all the eating too). Have you been to Napoli?!
