A local group has been set up on Facebook to support those struggling financially. I’ve given what’s pictured for someone to give as gifts or enjoy themselves plus 2 hours in January (will probably be more) to help someone with a business idea set up their social media and give any advice needed so they can better their situation. Thank you to lovely Rachel for setting up the group, it’s grown so quickly and shown what wonderful kind people we have living in our community 🥰 If you live locally & can give something, huge variety of things being gifted already 😁 or you need some support please join: The Gift of a Gift, South Hams You pm the person if you’d like something so you don’t have to say publicly that you need help 😊
With snow forecast for the weekend and frost on the ground today I wanted to give one more homage to Autumn. This is one of the baby oaks in the woods at the back of our house. The colours even on a brown leaf are so scrumptious.
This year the UK had a real Autumn dry and colourful, it was sublime.
So hello winter and farewell Autumn.
Goodbye leaf scrunching and hello icy puddles.
Goodbye apple picking and hello mince pie eating.
Making the choice is the first step to creating a happier relocation.
@melodywarnick, author of This is Where You Belong: Finding Home Wherever You Are, and I created RELOCATION RECOVERY, an online course to help people thrive through the post-relocation period and get acclimated. We show you how to embrace your emotions and challenges and work through them easily. We also help you connect to your new community and feel at home faster.
RELOCATION RECOVERY is only $25. Melody and I are on a mission to make relocation much better and provide much-needed affordable support. Link to course in bio.
Another beautiful inn toured... the Maidstone in East Hampton. Best way to describe the decor is a feast for the eyes....between the stunning Scandinavian decor and beautiful Baker Art Collection I was like a kid in a candy store- peeking around every corner to take it all in. And I haven’t even mentioned the food yet-which is a favorite of mine... the Swedish meatballs with lingonberry sauce is delectable and always pairs well with a glass of champagne!
