  • Money has been coming up a lot lately, which makes sense given it's a new year, January, tax season is imminent and I just did the LIVE with Chloe call on money and abundance the other day. I wanted to take a moment to share a piece of wisdom from my guides that I have felt really connected to lately. . Money is always representative of an energetic exchange. You get to decide the value it holds and the impact it has on your life. It is all up to you. It is your choice. . Yesterday when I went to get my medical exam, I didn't know how much it was going to be beforehand. When I got to the office and asked her how much it was, and she replied, "$465", I immediately noticed a response within me that surprised me: gratitude. Basically, it didn't create any fear or resistance or anger. I was excited. The way that I saw it, this money was representative of the exchange that I had agreed to, to receive my green card. I saw it and felt that it was the same thing as a handshake or an offering. An exchange. I've always thought about money and explored it at different points in my life. I haven't always felt this much ease and grace (and excitement) around money and living my life surrounded by it. A few years ago, that random and unexpected $465 would've created a decent amount of pain. . Before we had money as a currency, an exchange was through handshakes or the exchange of objects of different values. Again, the emphasis is on value. The truth is that you get to decide the value that something holds. The value that $100 bill has varies from person to person. For one person it might mean a month of meals, and to another, it might just be handy pocket change for a few cocktails on a night out. Money doesn't determine it's value, we do. . See if you can practice witnessing the value (and attachment/story) you place on money, and creating enough distance to observe it without judgment. The truth is that money never is and never will be the source of your supply. . So if money isn’t, what is? ✨😉

  • What genuinely makes you smile? There are so many things that genuinely make me smile, one of them is discovering a beautiful hidden beach with crystal blue water, another is coming across untouched powder when snowboarding, I genuinely smile when I get a new trick in flying trapeze, or when I can actually get my boyfriend to laugh at my jokes 😂 find what makes you smile and do it as much as you can. When you get to the end of your life, you want to be able to say ‘I’ve laughed and smiled a lot’. 😄💜

  • Today's quote comes from a @BusinessInsider interview with athlete @ColinOBrady, who made headlines in December for his solo trek across Antarctica - the first time anyone had ever accomplished the feat. He also won praise for his good sportsmanship, waiting to leave the continent until his competitor, @LouisRudd of England, finished two days later.

  • People love to reminisce about how hard of a worker they were or used to be. No one cares. Either your working hard or you not. Simple as that. Doesn’t matter if you’re happy, doesn’t matter if you’re rice, there’s always more work to be done. 🙌🏼 Been reading this book lately as well and it’s definitely got some solid stuff 🙌🏻🙌🏻

  • Do you even really remember the feeling you got from that piece of pizza or bag of candy you ate? If you forgot, just look down at your stomach, it might refresh your memory. Food is one of those things that when it's over, it's fucking over. All the enjoyment you got from it is gone, like you literally have nothing positive to show for it, but you keep all the negatives that come with that moment. When you eat poorly, assuming you want to be physically fit, you have to pay that back in the form of discipline and time. You don't just get to eat whatever you want and look how you want. The best way I've learned to control this is to remind myself that it just doesn't last. When it's over, it's over but all the shit that comes with it stays. It's like fat debt. You spend all this "money" by eating whatever you want, but like real life debt, you have to pay it back. You don't just get to spend whatever you want in life and not pay it back. When you look in the mirror, or down, you see all the "money" you owe, just remember all those "purchases" are long gone but you still gotta pay it back. Like it's so much worse than actually buying things, because you actually get to keep things. You have unnecessary things you have around the house that you can, at the very least, sell later when you realize you didn't need it, but diet doesn't work like that. Food is like going out to the bars every weekend, you're looking for this temporary enjoyment that only spends your time and money in exchange for like 3 hours of fun, and then you go out the next weekend and do the same thing because the feeling doesn't last. Start thinking about if the things you do actually last. Are you moving forward, or backward? Are you looking and feeling better and better, or worse and worse each week. We only get one life as far as we all know, start acting like it!

  • Such a great point. I notice this all the time when I’m at like the checkout counter or the DMV something. People are just angry all the time over the smallest things. We need to give some hugs out to show them most of us are good people 🙌🏻
