Good Morning ☀️!!!!! Happy HUMP DAY!!!! Man is it COLDDD 😨 this morning when I went out to take Sammy for his walk that woke my butt right up that cold air will do it to you!!! I fuel myself up ready to take on today’s workout which is CARDIO and my favorite kinda cardio...hoping my foot will work with me (heel spur acting up again 😒) been icing it every night it seems to help a bit but I’m sure all the jumping will make it act up again...I’ll have to ice it again later today!!!!! I’m excited to put this FITBIT to use today and see how my heart rate is at a cardio zone it may not be the most accurate but it will give me a sense of how hard I work!!! And well I like the sweat 😓 on CARDIO DAYS too! Thinking back to the beginning of my journey and how much I hated anything to do with cardio is pretty crazy how we become stronger physically and mentally it took me time to get here..time to build the stamina...time to fall in love with fitness...but once your in it becomes an ADDICTION!!! Good Morning ☀️!!!! Happy HUMP DAY!!!!! I’m on the struggle bus this morning tired tired tired 😴 it was hard to get up this morning....some days I jump out of bed other days OMG I feel that exhaustion and that inner voice that says “don’t get up you can skip a day” but then I need yo push through those thoughts and say to myself “no your gonna get up and do this because your worth it and putting in the work will give you results and make you feel amazing” so here I am....it’s hard...it takes work...but in the end I’m worth putting the effort daily to be the best healthiest version of me!!! I say this time and time again but my workout time is my time...my therapy session...skipping it will not give me the energy boost I need in my day so I’m gonna do this with the help of my 🦄 JUICE!!! This stuff is amazing for energy and endurance and I always feel confident drinking this because it’s all natural no jitters no heart racing just gives you that OK I’M READY FEELING!!! Three years and SO MANY things have changed!! 💪🏼💪🏼💇🏼♀️ This top picture was two days before Thanksgiving three years ago.. the bottom one is from this morning.
For the last two years, I’ve lost or maintained weight over the holidays and it’s been amazing NOT dreading the “new year” because of added pounds!! I heard someone say “don’t let those 10 pounds become 20” and it is SO TRUE!! If you’ve been putting off exercise and cleaning up your eating because the scale is up a little.. what will you do when it’s a bigger number?? Looking in the mirror or going to the closet where nothing fits is heartbreaking AND the holidays should be a time of joy and happiness!! Pretty cool that my last trainer gave me a butt and now my new trainer @joelfreemanfitness is giving me shoulders. .
At 247 pounds I didn’t have the belief I could get strong or even lose weight! 70 pounds down and I can finally start seeing the person I want to become. .
Also kinda amazing that I can switch trainers for no extra cost and my gym only costs me $2.20 with tax🌶 A WEEK🌶 !!!!
Not sure GoodLife will give u a trainer and membership for that price 🤷♀️
Experts estimate that for every 3 pounds of muscles you build, you can burn an extra 120 calories a day not doing anything... Woot!

It’s muscle building time, well actually that’s every day. As we get older, building muscle is very important for strength and endurance, helps us do functional activities that we used to take for granted when younger, and will help us look younger too. Low impact Cardio will help burn some calories and strengthens your heart muscle but you’ve got to add some resistance, either your own body and/or external resistance in the form free weights, bands, etc. We gotta keep it tight, Sassy Sexy Seasoned Sisters!

Here is a shoulder move for you try today. It’s fabulous for the deltoids, rotator cuff, and rhomboids/traps. I am all about strengthening those postural muscles. 💪
Form matters here, as always. Hinge forward at the hips, slight bend in the knees, shoulders need to stay at 90 degrees (keep elbows at shoulder height). .
Give these a try without weight first to master the form. 3 x 10 reps. ✅ .

Today I celebrate a year of learning, growth, transformation and self love.
A year ago today I set aside all my trials and tribulations. I decided that I was worth more than any corporate job. I was more than just an employee, a wife and mother. I found something that is ever lasting, I found me. I got back my humanity and sanity🤛. I’m not stretched thin anymore trying to do everything and be perfect at it all. I found my voice, my will, my strength and my confidence.

My story is real. A real mom, a real wife overwhelmed with taking care of her family and forgetting about herself. I looked in the mirror and I wanted my outside to match my inside. I have always been a happy, caring, and loving person. Love ❤️ to laugh but was a little insecure about the way I was starting to look. I decided to make some changes. It wasn’t easy and there were detours along the way! Fast forward I am still on that journey of living a healthy lifestyle. I refuse to call it a diet because it’s not. I am practicing better eating and exercising consistently. I love this lifestyle. Some call it an addiction, but I guess I am addicted to a FITish Lyfestyle.
