If you are lucky, flowering lasts for about 2 months and happens once a year during the spring/summer time. If you cut back on watering during winter and put it in a cooler location (AKA DO NOT OVERWATER) this can promote future flowering. HOWEVER, it’s very important that you still provide your pearls with bright/indirect sunlight all year long. 📸: @succulentsathome

  • The book was hugely influential in changing my perception of what we eat and it’s impact on our bodies. After dabbling with a plant based diet 2009 and struggling to readjust my life following surgery from cancer I found this book in #lax on the way home from #omaha #nebraska and as I’d heard it mentioned several times in the previous few months I felt compelled to but it (not of a back story there). It was like figuring out. #rubikscube as all the pieces of the puzzle lined up and I never looked back. I’ve owned several copies over the years and have loaned them out multiple times only to have them disappear so I figured they were needed elsewhere ☺️ but might treat myself to a new copy for #christmas 👌 #vegan #vegano #vegansofig #vegansofinstagram #plantbased #plantstrong #whatvegansread #thechinastudy #govegan #nofilter
