Woche 6 von 10 unserer #fit_before_spring #challenge ist geschafft und draußen steht der #Frühling in den Startlöchern 🎉 und ich muss mal nicht auf Fotos aus dem Archiv zurück gereiften ☺️ 💐 Letzte Woche waren wir immer noch 210 Mitstreiter. Ich bin gespannt, wieviele noch dabei sind 😊 Tragt „geschafft“ ein, wenn ihr auch in der sechsten Woche in Folge mindestens 3x sportlich aktiv wart und tragt „krank“ ein, wenn ihr diese Woche aus gesundheitlichen Gründen überspringen müsst. Natürlich zählt auch Sonntag noch zur sechsten Woche, daher könnt ihr euch bis Montag Abend unter diesem Beitrag nachtragen.   • I’m just a girl, standing in my kitchen eating all the food because I crushed my long run workout🔥🔥🔥I’m so proud of this run not only because I hit all my paces but because of the conditions I faced - hills, running head first into the wind during my goal marathon pace miles, running through mud, and dodging ice chunks. Marathon training through the winter in Boston isn’t super glamorous, but it makes me feel like a strong bada$$ runner woman who’s about to crush some serious goals💪🏼 #MyStrongestSelf

  • ~ PRESS! ~ . . When it finally clicks that press does indeed mean ‘press’! Press handstand is starting to feel a little less elusive - I thought my main goal for the first part of this year was to run a marathon - maybe I should alter this to quest for the press! 😂 (Marathon goal is still there don’t worry, but I think it needs to be pushed back until later this year whilst I rehab this ankle injury. Meanwhile cross training, strength training and apparently handstand piking will be my focus!) previously I’ve only ever managed this with both feet on blocks and a bolster behind my back, so to get lift off prop free is a big step! For those of you who are wondering what yoga poses and drills I’ve been practising to achieve this - I haven’t! This is the result of strength training in the gym and a crap load of cross training. I think having stronger arms and quads makes a difference here, rather than excessive flexibility. Taking a friend out for breakfast. Taking your kids to the beach. Take yourself to the beach, for a walk, for a run. Time to read a book. Time to do whatever YOU 'want' to do instead of what you 'have' to do...
