To do this, you want to keep your elbows in and not allow them to flare out. Like with every exercise, you want to use a full range of motion to get the most out of it. I ran intervals (20×30/30 seconds) and had a very efficient leg workout and now I am on my way to a party 💃The University I (sort of) work at is turning 100 years, so it's time to celebrate 😊 Happy Friday!

  • А могла бы и платья носить! ⠀ ⠀ Недавно девушка-доброжелатель написала мне в личку, что при моих неплохих внешних данных я могла бы носить платья и яркий макияж. Мол, без них я скучная и без шансов понравится мужчинам. И пресс – фигня, на него никто не клюнет. ⠀ Меня это сообщение не столько задело, сколько удивило: я-то думала, что в наше время все понимают и принимают, ⠀ что внешний вид человека – его выбор (если все в рамках закона или дресс-кода) ⠀ что не каждой хочется выеживаться насколько хватит фантазии, чтобы кому-то понравиться (сорян, парни) ⠀ и что не у всех есть такая цель – нравиться (и снова, сорян)... ⠀ ⠀ Но на эту тему много постов у других блогеров, а я вот что хочу сказать. Мнение, что юбка и мейк-ап чем-то лучше спортивного бра и умения, например, пробежать 200 метров за 30 сек для меня сомнительно, потому как ⠀ когда я выкладываю подтягивания в сториз – я получаю десятки восхищенных смайлов от парней (и плюс еще кучу сообщений от тех, кого не устраивает мой хват/рывки и т. д., но это мелочи) ⠀ когда я бегу трешку за 10:48, комментируют больше парни, чем девушки ⠀ да даже фото, где я лечу с виража, собрало больше лайков, чем фото в купальнике! ⠀ ⠀ Делайте, что нравится. Надевайте, что нравится. Главное – чтобы вам было хорошо, а обожатели найдутся. ⠀ Ничего против платьев не имею. Но куда мне их носить – на тренировки? Макияж – тоже классно, но надо накраситься, а потом смывать! ⠀ Я слишком ленива для этого. Мне очень жаль времени. Пойду лучше подтянусь. ⠀ Ведь вы меня и такой любите, правда? ⠀ ⠀ ———— 🐾🐾🐾 Тоже не понимаю, зачем эти украшательства? Я даже не одеваюсь – еще больше времени экономится. Могу потратить его на сон: утренний, дневной, вечерний... #спасаюкотика

O que nos uniu foi justamente o Instagram e a corrida, 20 de Janeiro de 2015 ou 2016 pra ser mais exata. E olha que atualmente nos vemos uma vez por semana. Resolvemos isso hoje com 739 fotos em sequência, salvas na galeria com sucesso 😜. . Carinho e admiração, meu amigo 👊🏼😍

  • 🇳🇱eindelijk 🎉. Naar 2 jaar met pijn lopen ( waarvan wij in februari 2018 achter kwamen waarom), ben ik gisteren de eerste keer een 10 km zonder pijn gelopen. Nu kan ik eindelijk weer echt genieten van het lopen en ga heel rustig opbouwen. Zo blij 😇 #harlopen 🇩🇪 Nach 2 Jahren bin ich gestern das erste mal 10 km gelaufen ohne Schmerzen 🎉. Es hat ein Jahr gedauert um raus zu finden was los war und ein Jahr um alles wieder recht zu setzen ( im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes). Jetzt kann ich hoffentlich wieder genießen und alles langsam und vorsichtig aufbauen. #laufen 📸 @fitfunrun_

  • #Repost @susanniebergallfitness with @get_repost ・・・ One of the most difficult things about getting older is how Mother Nature wants to kick our ass. - There are so many things that we go through during peri menopause and menopause, but the one thing I hear the most about, and what people are the most frustrated about, is belly fat. - It seems like belly fat has such a strong foot hold that no matter what you do it won’t go away. You feel like you have tried everything, and nothing works. - I thought I had tried everything too, but what I eventually discovered was I hadn’t even scratched the surface. - And while I wish I could have a magical series of exercises for you that will melt it all away, the reality is that’s not how it works. Doing 100 crunches every night, or holding a plank for 5 minutes just isn’t going to do it. So what will burn that fat away? - The formula for burning belly fat is the same for fat loss in general: - ✅Set up your calorie deficit and stick to it. BW x 11-12 is a good place to start. ✅Eat lean protein and Veggies at every meal. Aim for 20-30 grams of protein per meal. ✅Strength Train 3-4x per week with big compound movements and a sprinkling of accessory movements. Want definition? Keep the cals in check, and build lean muscle. ✅Consistency not perfection - Stay consistent over time with calories and workouts. Consistency wins out 100% of the time. ✅Be Patient - This is the hardest one. Fat loss takes time. It can be frustrating. Even when you feel like you aren’t making progress, don’t quit. Keep going, - And if you love cardio, add it in! Cardio is not the focus, but is a great addition to your strength training . - The changes our bodies go through as we get older can be frustrating. I know. I have been there too. But we CAN do something about it. Don’t think this is it. That it’s game over. It’s never too late to make changes. - As someone who completely changed my body in my fifties, I am here to tell you it works. It takes putting in the work, but it does work. - It’s time to get to work, and kick Mother Nature right in the ass. I am here to help you every single step of the way. It’s never too late.

Warm ups are sooo important to get your heart rate up, blood flowing, prepare your muscles for activity and prevent injury. Save the static stretches for your cool down and opt for dynamic movements in your warm up. A few great warm up movements for runners include, but are not limited to: - High knees - Butt kicks - Walking lunges - Skipping - Side shuffle - Backward jogging _____________________ Ok, now I’m off for a run 🏃🏼‍♀️ Happy Thursday!

  • Run slow to go fast. That’s the name of the game now. Essentially what this means is conditioning the body over time to become more efficient in your lower zones. Where one day you might run a 10:30 pace in zone 2 , with continued practice in “run slow to go fast”, that 10:30 pace will inevitably get faster and faster in those lower zones.
