  • Best decision to downgrade to just 21k this year for Singapore Marathon. Had a complete rest for almost 2 months since my other marathons. I was really tempted to DNS this race but since my friends still wanted to do it so I kind of decided to show up. I just went on without being conscious about the timing because I told myself to just finish this and go home to rest thinking-ok, just one more and I'm so done for 2018. Lessened complains and just did it in a mindful way. Acknowledging and accepting every challenge along the way and approaching it positively-I felt like I won already. So thankful that I finished this today without the level of body soreness that I expected. Congratulations to all the finishers for braving the humidity. I understand how you felt because I did this twice and thought that they were enough already. I must be really getting old that I couldn't handle the humidity anymore. So this wrapped up my 2018 races. Lots of opportunities to look into by 2019 that I must choose wisely. So, until my next race in life. Time to park my running gears now. .....   • Hey! So today I didn’t have school and it made me feel super unproductive 😞 😂 it’s fine though! Anyways I ate my breakfast and then went on a little walk and then ate I big lunch then waited awhile before I went to the gym! At the gym I did 4.5 miles of running total at average 7:42 mile pace! But I did a workout mixed into the run! (See my story) but yeah then I did 26 mins of strength! Including mostly arms and core and I tiny tiny bit of legs!! After all that I went to the track and did 5 100 meter strides!! Was meant to do 8x400 / 4x200 but apparently lost count and only did 7 of the 400s 🙈 Along with discovering that I didn’t complete the 400s (after looking at my Garmin stats) I learned I wasn’t really the rockstar I felt like out there 😆 I could swear I was flying! But I was a good 10-15 seconds off last training sessions pace 🤭 Oh well! I feel great and think every workout now is just about getting back in the routine anyway 👍🏻 “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” 🙌🏻 #tracktuesday

  • Hey!! I’m so sorry I haven’t posted 😂!! I’ve just been enjoying my time without xc!! but still working out of course!! Anyways so I don’t want to say all that I’ve done cause well that’s a lot! But I will say what I did Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!! On Saturday I did a long run of 7 miles!! And I was going to swim but I just didn’t feel like it 😂 and last week I did 3 days strength training and 2 days of swimming!! Sunday I did a hike with my sister that I’m going to try and do every rest day (Sunday) ! And yesterday (Monday) I did 4.5 miles at 7:47 mile pace! And 900 meters of swimming! I’m going to try and be more active on posting but if you do want to see stuff you should look on my story! I always put my workouts for the day on there!!   • While @greenbodymary and @nklastava were on there way to destroy #RunCIM, I am proud to say I also ran a PR today 🏆...on the sand 😆 (congrats to the CIM finishers tho for real! #crushedit) I also felt surprisingly amazing this morning! 🙅🏻‍♀️ hangover. We are convinced they weren’t serving real alcohol yesterday 😜 We are already heading home 🥺 but it was a great trip! After letting loose for a few days, I’ve never been more ready to get back to the program 🏃🏻‍♀️ 💪🏻 Adiós 🇲🇽

  • Holà mi amigos! Running on the sand for a few days. The paths around the resort are only about a quarter mile! I might need to run this stretch twice tomorrow! Especially with all the drinking and food. Last night we ordered room service after eating dinner 🙈 How much do you let loose on vacation when you’re not training? I always feel guilty when I make unhealthy choices even though I know it’s 👌🏻 once in a while! Vegan friends - I love mud slides! This is my first trip like this since changing to a plant based lifestyle. What are some of your favorite vacation drinks🍹?
