  • Today I ran the Suffolk County Marathon! It was my first marathon since 2014 and the first marathon that I trained for a specific time. This time last year I was just getting back into running from what felt like a year of repeated foot related injuries. Not only did I run a 50 min PR but I placed 1st in my age group 🙀 I am so grateful for @caralilly11 riding next to me for most of my long runs. Thank you for keeping me laughing even when it hurt! There are not enough words to say how thankful I am for @hhall5223! Thank you supporting me for the last 16 weeks and being out there on the course today! 💋 #suffolkcountymarathon #longisland #nashville #tennessee #615 #631

  • Well, yesterday’s experience pacing the 4 hour group at the @suffolkmarathon was both rewarding and unforgettable. Linked up with new friend Matt, we had a very committed group that ran nice and relaxed with us. Most were running their very first Marathon and I knew early on that we had A LOT of runners that were definitely hitting their goal. I was wrong, though. At around 17 miles, a few of our women athletes slowly pushed forward. By 19, they were out of our sight. Around this same time, a few of our men from the group made a solid surge. By 23, they were long gone. The group we had at 13.1 ALL ran well below 4 hours and ALL negative split their second half! So many impressive times (3:54, 3:54, 3:56, 3:57 to name a few) and ALL placed in their divisions! So proud of all of their efforts! It was truly a pleasure to take the individuality out of racing for the day and focus solely on others’ goals. Thank you for this opportunity, @runglirc.#suffolkcountymarathon #suffolkmarathon #glirc

  • Almost two weeks late but finally got my race report of the The Suffolk County Marathon up. My 23rd marathon! It was supposed to be an ego boosting race, a stepping stone to bigger goals in 2019. Instead I ended up sitting in a medical tent at mile 21.5, wondering why I had no more energy left in the tank. Link to race recap in bio. #marathon #running #optoutside #suffolkcountymarathon

  • I couldn’t have imagined a better marathon debut than yesterday! I was all smiles for 26.2 miles. Clocking in at 3:33:34 and raising almost $2,000 for New Hope Rising is the icing on the cake. Thank you to my family, friends and everyone who donated! I couldn’t have done it without you. And thank you @lilfeezy__ for copiloting my crazy parents to find me four times, I never hit that wall. This is just the beginning! #SuffolkCountyMarathon

  • I did this today.  Completed the Suffolk County Half Marathon.  I did this?  I can’t believe I did this.  This 13.1 mile run.  This longest run of my life.  This incredible accomplishment.  This could not have been done without my incredible support team.  I know they are going to try and play me off in a minute but I’m taking my time and Cuba Gooding Jr’ing this thing.  Thank you most importantly to the one and only @bridge4e for affording me the time and patience to prepare for this.  Thank you for bearing with me when I was a completely irrational bastard.  Thank you for believing that I could do this.  You are amazing…seeing you and the girls on the sidelines pulled me through.  Thank you to everyone over these last few weeks that offered advice and encouragement.  Thank you to @clifbar and @honeystinger for the literal fuel to get me through this.  Thank you to @otfmerrick for making this body worth a damn again and giving me the strength to pull this off.  Thank you to my brother @agregory917 for agreeing to take on this challenge with me, checking in every week, and pushing me to the point to where I can now say I have completed a half marathon.  Love you brother.  Thank you Crohn’s…the invisible disease.  You’ve presented me with quite the challenge over these last few years but today I claim victory.  Last NYE, I threw out a random resolution that I would run a half marathon in 2018.  Today I did that thing.  It feels pretty damn good.

  • 🏆 7th place overall at the Suffolk County Marathon and I earned my Qualifying Time for Boston 👍 #BostonMarathon2020 ⏱26.2 miles - 3:03:24 time (6:59 avg pace). I loved every minute of this adventure. So many ups and down along the way ... painful spasms in my calves after mile 19 definitely hurt my pace but I loved overcoming adversity and the chance to dig deep and finish strong. I learned so much and love this distance👌 Also so proud of @living_on_caffeine hitting her goals and personal records during her half marathon today (1:48:19 - 13.1 miles) . We consistently support and encourage the best out of each other and I’m so grateful ❣️ ************************** #dreambig #workhard #runwild #lovewhatyoudo #beyondmotivated #running #suffolkcountymarathon #supportourveterans 🇺🇸
