Taquiza for dinner tonight. 😋 We made carne "asada" tacos. It's not real asada since it's not grilled outside but this is usually what they sell us at restaurants lol.
So at the butcher he asked for carne picada para tacos and he gave me diesmillo(chuck steak) y aguayon(top sirloin steak) picado/cubed. He spoils me because he trims off the fat and cuts it up for me at no extra cost. It's hard for me to measure the ingredients becauase i usually just eyeball everything.
-I got 3lbs of the meat and put the meat in a big bowl. Add the juice of 2 oranges, the juice of 1 lime, about 1tsp of Lawry's garlic salt, 1 tsp of Lawry's meat seasoning, 1 tsp of crushed oregano, ½ tsp of black pepper, ¼ tsp of ground cumin, and ⅛ of a tsp of chipotle powder. Mix it all up well and let it sit about 10 min. Heat up a large frying pan with a little oil and add your meat. Keep the heat at about med high heat and be stirring every so often. Once it's all no longer pink lower it to just med heat and keep stirring every so often. Don't cover it. After about 20-25 min it should be done. Let it sit about 10. Set up a make your own taco table with diced onion, chopped cilantro, lemon wedges, salsa, warm tortillas and rabanos. I made frijoles de la olla as a Side dish.

Cook two eggs, sunny-side up. Heat up the black beans in a pot. Warm up the tortillas in a pan. Slice your avocado. Slice your cabbage. Load up your tacos!
