  • There has been so many things I’ve learned since starting my fitness journey. I used to think if I didn’t have abs year round I wasn’t truly fit. I used to think that if I didn’t track every crumb I wasn’t staying on track. The truth is that health is so much more than what your physical body shows. True health really comes when your mental health and physical health are working together. Once I found my balance with LIFE and fitness the journey became so much more enjoyable and attainable long term-not stressful. I still track macros because I do think it’s a great way to reach your goals while being able to add in “fun foods”. For me it helps me to find balance without binging on treats OR completely restricting myself. However I think that if we can reach the point of focusing on fueling our body with whole, nutrient dense foods most of the time, and also getting in some kind of exercise 4-6 days per week it will take a lot of mental stress off. People tend to over complicate the whole “heath and fitness” thing always thinking “I can’t have that” or setting unrealistic goals for them selves. Stop over complicating the process! Start by creating a few new good habits each week- rather than going from 0-100 overnight (trust me it never sticks).   • WOW. Haven’t done a #facetofacefriday in a LONG TIME. So the scale as been up and down for me for like 3 months now and that’s fine. Sometimes I get frustrated then realize I am at a healthy weight and I am happy. Although the scale hasn’t moved my face has legit disappeared. I have always had a very round face... ALWAYS. And it’s crazy because it feels like it has completely slimmed down overnight. Also- could someone have told me to leave my freaken eye brows alone back then?! LOLZ the picture on the right is SO old. It’s gotta be at least 5 years old. If the scale isn’t moving don’t get frustrated because I can almost guarantee your body is changing and you are loosing inches. I am feeling so much better then yesterday. Still not 110% back to myself but getting there! I hope you all had a wonderful Friday and have a great weekend 🤗💛✨

  • Fitness/Health Journey Timeline: 2012: Cardio every other day. Rock climbing in between. Diet was leafy greens and fruit. Very careful on what I ate. 2013-2014: Partying hard. Drank a lot. Worried so much about gaining weight that I hardly ate anything at all. Late 2014-2016: Recovering years. 2017: Got back to doing Bikram Yoga 3-4x a week (Unlimited month on Groupon). Started drinking more water. Gained weight back because I drank a lot at the bar I worked at. 2018-Present: Got a gym membership and started at 2-3x a week to 4-5x a week. 30mins of cardio and 30mins of weights. Always stayed for 1hr+ and never under. Went Vegan for 3 weeks (didn’t last). Continued to drink more water. Added more protein to my diet. Gained some ass 🍑. Still working on abs. Happier 😃 #fitness #fitnessjourney #bbtt #fbf #transformation @madalingiorgetta @growwithjo

Нельзя стать стройной без правильной еды и движения. Не выучить язык без ежедневной практики. Не уехать в страну мечты без  рюкзака и желания. ⠀ ❗Никакой метод не будет работать на вас, если вы не захотите. Будьте честны с собой. Нужны ли вам вообще перемены, или все же спокойнее находиться в своем болотце? В конечном итоге мне все равно, что вы выберите. Потому что любой ваш выбор хорош. Кто я такая, чтобы судить вас? Вы сами с этим прекрасно справляетесь! ⠀ НО ... если вы решили "все или ничего", тогда действуйте! Делайте маленькие, совсем крохотные шажочки. Пусть не получается сразу, начинайте сначала. Выключите важность, просто наслаждайтесь процессом! ⠀ ✔️Ну а чтобы не быть голословной, я спросила участниц Игр: правда ли работает? Выкладываю скрины, листайте карусель.   • Never stop having fun. • Some people treat training like a military operation. Straight in, strict reps and sets, strictly target a certain body part per session. And this is fine, if you're aiming to compete / make changes to a strict schedule or timeframe. • But if you're not and you're simply trying to move better, get stronger and be healthier in the long term..then a key part of continued training is making it more interesting. • Training shouldn't be a chore. If it is, mix it up and try something new, chances are your results will improve too.
