Our #WhiskeyOfTheWeek this week is an M&T favorite, @michterswhiskey 10 Year Single Barrel. “Mature in age and truly exceptional in quality, Michter’s 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon has earned its place as an enduring favorite of the most discerning whiskey connoisseurs. The “Best American Whiskey” according to @foodandwine magazine, our 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon represents the culmination of over a decade of patient aging in specially chosen, new charred American white oak barrels.” This stuff is honestly almost too good to be true. Come in and try it while we’ve got it!
How fitting! We're sharing our #WhiskeyOfTheWeek on #RepealDay!
The repeal of Prohibition in the United States was accomplished with the passage of the Twenty-first Amendment to the United States Constitution on December 5, 1933.
Come celebrate with a pour of Orphan Barrel's 'Rhetoric'. It's bottled at 90.8 proof, with a mash bill that’s 86% corn, 8% barley and 6% rye. “An aroma of rich vanilla oak, brown sugar and chocolate. Taste begins with orchard fruit accented with a hint of allspice, and gives way to a warming finish with of nutmeg and caramel notes.
We celebrate Repeal Day because December 5th marks a return to the rich traditions of craft fermentation and distillation, the legitimacy of the American bartender as a contributor to the culinary arts, and the responsible enjoyment of alcohol as a sacred social custom. Conveniently located halfway between Thanksgiving and Christmas — at a time when most Americans are probably not spending time with family — Repeal Day presents a wonderful occasion to get together with friends and pay tribute to this constitutional right.
Our #BourbonAdventCalendar whiskey of the day is @calumetfarm’s Small Batch! “Our Small Batch Bourbon has a customary mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley that offers a sweet, flawless finish. Glowing with butterscotch and soft oak, the harmonious mixture of wood char and caramel is admirably balanced with complex flavors of light brown sugar and soft white pepper.” $7.53 a pour - TODAY ONLY. Don’t miss it.
L3’s Private Stash Flight: Featuring @fourrosesbourbon, @whistlepigwhiskey, and @bellemeadebrbn. Each of these heavyweights were selected and bottled just for us, and they’re only available here. These whiskies are each sneakily overproof and insanely delicious. At $25.93 per flight, this is a total steal. Come drink it while we’ve got it! When they’re gone, they’re gone forever!

Our #whiskeyoftheweek this week is Old Fitz! The Old Fitzgerald brand has a long, rich history, first making an appearance in 1870. It was later acquired by Pappy Van Winkle, who started including wheat in the recipe, and it was produced at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery until that closed in 1992. Today it’s made by Heaven Hill, and until this ultra-fancy BiB release, it was best known as an affordable, low-budget wheated bourbon ideal for cocktails. It’s spicy throughout, with lots of fresh cracked black pepper, dried dill, resinous oak, and banana nut bread. Bring the family in to Eleanor’s tonight, and give it a try!
Day 3, Stop 5-ish: Time for a night cap. 16 year Lagavulin on the right, a Squirming Coil Old Fashioned in the left. If you’re into whiskey, bourbon, and spirits, visit Butcher’s Union. The list is epic.
