Ok I’m not usually a treadmill runner but I’ll be darned if the @GoZwift app didn’t make it fun! Just a quick connect from the foot pod to the app and I was up and running. So cool to be able to virtually run with other #frunners across the country on all different scenery! #bibchat#zwiftbr#zwift#trebr#bibravepro

I was super irritated and grumpy at work all day, so decided I needed some Christmas cheer to snap out of it! I also told my mom (boss lady) & co-worker that I would be wearing Christmas gear the rest of the week! ❤️🎅🏻🎄💚
Tonight I made my acting debut as Mrs. Runners McSprinterton thanks to my pal, Mr. Nguyen! 😉😎😂 It was an honor to be a tiny part of the 6th grade musical. Knowing my kinders will someday be their age inspires me to be a better teacher for them. Mr. Nguyen put together an amazing program with the 6th grade teachers. The kids might not all realize it now, but they been given amazing opportunities because of Mr. Nguyen’s vision. More kids spoke or sang on a microphone tonight than you’d ever believe. The confidence they gained from performing on a beautiful stage for an audience will stick with them forever. In the midst of December crazy, this was another reminder I’m where I’m supposed to be. Feeling extra thankful I get to be a Bryant Blazer! (And how cool that I got to be on a STAGE where I went to HS! The auditorium didn’t exist then!) #moorepublicschools#oklaed#musiceducation#werunsocial#setthestagetoengage#teamsparkle#redcoyoteracing
I soaked up every single ray of sunshine today... from watching the sunrise to seeing the sunset... and I’m not even mad about it! I never sit still for very long... but the people watching today was pretty freaking entertaining... I love people and their quirks... if you don’t have quirks... we probably wouldn’t be friends! Where’s the best place to people watch... for me personally... it’s hands down DISNEYLAND! #beach#caboLIFE#truth
who else loves fudge?! ⠀
yo forreal. my mom has this recipe that she makes every christmas that I would lowkey sell my soul for. it’s full sugar, full fat, 0 protein & I would not trade it for the world. ⠀
I used to look at healthy eating as what I SHOULDN’T / COULDN’T eat. which is... crappy lol ⠀
now I look at it as “what can I add into my diet to enhance it?” ⠀
I still eat alllll the yummy fudge (like... all of it) but I also incorporate collagen in my coffee, pre & probiotics, adaptogens like maca & reishi, antioxidants, phytonutrients like chlorella & spirulina.... you get the picture. 😉⠀
when you even approach your diet with an abundance mindset... CRAZY how happy & healthy you can be! ⠀
if eating well around the holidays is something you struggle with, I got yo back ♥️ try these tips to add in things instead of restricting!
🎵It’s been three years since you last hear / But now I reappear your heart pumps fear 🎵
Yes, I have a lot of 90s rap on my playlist. And today it fit. I’m angry and anxious. I felt like I needed a few runs today. Instead, just one (plus some running at CrossFit). It gets better. I’ll just run through it.
We don't care that it's a Walk sign, tomorrow morning we're meeting right at this intersection to RUN!

I think that my #werunsocialornamentexchange just showed up from Shop Disney. There was no name on it. @run_harter is this from you? If so, Minnie is my FAVORITE character! Minnie is the character I have run in the MOST, including the upcoming 5K as part @RunDisney Marathon Weekend. Thank you and Polka Dots Forever ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤 #werunsocial
☀️☀️☀️☀️ thank god for sunshine! Really wasn’t feeling it today - Charlie has some sort of stomach bug going on and a huge diaper rash and Mark is just being needy. We all needed some fresh air today so I am so thankful for today’s sunshine. I feel like I haven’t gotten anything done today but I did get this 3 miler in. I did 5 minute run/ 3 minute walk interval the whole way. I still don’t have a Garmin due to me losing mine but with my timer I think my pace was around 12:00/mi. Not bad for walking almost half. My knee is bothering me a lot but it doesn’t hurt when I run. It’s only afterwards, going up the stairs, sitting for too long, etc. I can’t seem to figure it out! Nonetheless, today is one of those days as a mom that I’m SO SO SO thankful for running.
Also day 5: went into work just to be sent home after 2 hours because management didnt let me know they didnt receive my return to work note. I thought when they said see you tuesday when i talked to them on friday that that was a clear confirmation...silly me! It perfectly worked out that another clinic i applied to called today and wanted to interview....all things happen for a reason! Interview went soo well! We shall see what happens!!

I knocked California off my list of states I’ve run a marathon in back in 2013, but every April I see race photos from the Big Sur International Marathon and want to immediately enter the drawing for the following year. Today I came home to this ornament from Pretty (aka @tourdalulu, who I had the pleasure of meeting at #Seawheeze 2017!) and now I KNOW I’ve got to run it one day! Thanks so much, Pretty!
Y’all, I ran 5 pain free miles! I might have smiled the whole time.
There was so much that was glorious about this run. ❤️The 60° sports bra weather a week before Christmas. I love colder weather for racing, but must say this is amazing weather for fun running easy miles!
❤️ The easy run actually feeling easy and like I could keep going and going
❤️ The most important thing was that it was pain free! I could feel a little soreness when I’d think about it, but I’m sure that’s from the deep tissue work I had done on it yesterday. It feels a little sore now, but I’ve already iced it and again think that’s related to yesterday.
I am excited, encouraged and ready to start logging miles again! That is, of course, if my foot responds well. I’m still listening closely to it as I want it 100% before I really start anything serious.
I am a happy girl! Thank you all so much for the love and support during these long months. Good things are coming! Bring on 2019!

About 2 months ago my physio asked me to stand on my left leg (my injured knee) and balance. 🦵 That’s it - just balance. And I couldn’t. I wobbled, my ankle shook, my right leg swung all over the place trying to find my centre of gravity, and I fell. I’d hit my rock bottom! 😞
Fast forward to this morning ⏩ I was able to knock out 3x10 of these sets without falling, stable as a rock.
I normally don’t post what I do at the gym because I’m not a professional, but for me today is a proud day because I can see how far I have come and it sets a benchmark for where I can go to from here! 💪

I panicked, I cranked up some music, I pretended I didn't go to the Ridge this weekend, and I went for my run.
1.5 mi warm-up
5 x 800m @ 7:20, 800m @ 8:20
1.5 mi cool-down
Workout complete and all body parts (minus my brain) are fully operational! I'm feeling a little more confident now and putting the paranoia of the last few months behind me, where it belongs 👊🏼
Some of my booty building progress just to remind that never give up no matter what your goal is ✨
Also wrote down some my favorite booty building tips that have really helped me on my fitness journey:
1️⃣ Muscle- Mind connection
When working out I often close my eyes and concentrate on feeling the target muscle- This is so important ☝🏼(But don’t worry if you can’t feel it right away, this will improve over time)
I was always very skinny so for me this meant that I needed to eat A LOT. In order to gain weight, muscle and strength. However I never recommend eating a lot of fast food (easy calories) because this will make you gain excess fat as well- Also fast food is not healthy and trust me, you need proper Nutriton 😌 ( Learning to eat was the hardest for me🙋🏽♀️)
I always start with big lifts like squats or deadlifts and then move on to accessory exercises that isolate the target muscle group.
My favorites for the booty🍑:
-Cable donkey kicks
-Smith-machine squats with resistance band around the knees
You grow when you’re recovering not when you’re lifting ✨ So it’s important to have the right circadian rhythm and sleep well (If I’m having a hard time falling asleep I lie on my spike mat- When you get used to it, it’s so relaxing 💆🏽♀️)
Also listen to your body when it comes to training- When feeling off (or having a very stressful day) its wiser to just do active recovery (example. mobility work & light cardio)

It’s not all rainbows and butterflies. Sometimes it’s a lot of hard work, grit, cursing and sweat. Including today. I wanted to quit. Multiple times. Not because I was achy, or extra fatigued today but because the workout was hard! It’s that simple. Every run is not only a physical battle, but it’s mental too.
I knew it would be rough when after the third 1k I muttered to myself that it was ONLY the third one done. Not that it was ALREADY the third one. I kept plugging on, but I’ll be honest... reps 6 and 7 hurt more than I hoped and rep 8 took some yelling at myself (literally, out loud. Thank goodness I was at home and not in public!) to get it done. I counted down every single .01 of that 1000m rep.
Gaining back fitness is hard, but losing fitness at the end of your season or goal race is KEY to GROWTH for the next season. I’m also doing these reps about 30 seconds faster than I was during the summer... but they were tough in the summer too!
We forget, as humans, what pain feels like. If we remembered every single detail of pain we probably would run one race or hard workout and go “NOPE! I’m done. Don’t want to feel that again.” (Same with having kids, right?! 😂) But we forget. And sometimes I think we get hungry to feel it again because it makes us know we’re alive...
Now I say that and I know I’ll be anxious and hungry for the next workout and growth session but for now I’m so thankful my next three days are easy/ rest days! 😂

My toddler is just learning how to walk. He falls down constantly, and no matter what, he gets back up and tries again. 💓Everyday he can go a little further - yesterday, it was half a dozen steps at a time, today he walked across his bedroom. 💓His technique changes too, sometimes the hands are up above his head, sometimes he takes tiny steps, today he learned to slow down so he could walk further. 💓There are so many life lessons in there, slow down, try doing something different, be stronger than you were yesterday 💓
