Making a list of my yoga goals to keep myself motivated! It’s easy to get stagnant in my practice especially when my focus is usually teaching others. 🌸
So here is a list of my goals in order of when I want to get them. 🙌🏼 Now it’s out there let’s see if I can actually do it 🙈⠀
💙 Get my right splits as deep as my left ⠀
🧡 Work on touching my feet to my head in harder poses without using my hands ⠀
❤️ Get my straddle handstand and forearm press more consistently ⠀
💚 Get both over-splits comfortably on 5 blocks (middle 3 each side) ⠀
💕Get more comfortable in my standing dancer with my leg straight⠀
💛 Touch my knees in Kapotasana ⠀
💜 Work on moving through tolasana to chataranga jump backs from seated ⠀
🖤 Get forearm pike presses more consistent⠀
💚 Get better at lowering to crow from handstand⠀
❣️Get my back flat with both feet behind my head ⠀
🧡 Touch my bun to my butt in a backbend ⠀
💖 Hold a straight line handstand for 60 seconds (consistently) ⠀
💙 Start working towards handstand pike press ⠀
💜 Start working on lifting to handstand from crow 🙌🏼⠀

We’re already halfway through the first month of 2019 (so crazy!) but it’s not too late to make some positive changes. Honestly my year started off a little rough.. Feeling a little too ambitious, I ended up committing to too many things at once. So I’ve been waking up earlier to make more time for myself - meditation, walks and planning my day ahead.
One positive change I’m trying to make is not reaching for my phone first thing in the morning - which means no more checking emails, messages or mindlessly scrolling through IG for at least 1 hour after waking up. It’s been really hard because this is a subconscious habit I’ve built up over the years but I’m determined and excited to see how changing this will help my productivity. .

Transmission heard clear. Kundalini must be felt. Being honest about my own stagnant energy. Giving myself permission to love up these spaces. -
Letting go the old attachments to free up time to see the Self from these trajectories. Thankful for this opportunity to heal on behalf of all beings. -

We can flip it and reverse it. The future is kundalini. Sending energy into those corners of the Universe most in need. -

Очень вкусный соус тахини!!! Готовится очень просто - кунжут вместе с сушеной ламинарией размолоть на кофемолке, добавить сок лимона и воду до консистенции соуса, можно еще добавить оливкового или другого масла холодного отжима, консистенция тогда получается болтше кремовая, нежная, но и без масла тоже очень вкусно☺ этот соус очень вкусно с любыми овощами, у меня - жмых моркови (то, что остается после сока) с помидором и луком. Отличная замена традиционной еде, попробуйте, напишите в комментариях☺☺☺

There will be a free Friday Flow on February 1st at 6pm to welcome those who are registered on the course and for those wishing to come to a lovely Friday evening flow it will be $20.00
If you have any questions about the six sessions or are only able to attend a few, there are 2 spots available for casual students.
Students will be provided with a student booklet to keep, a complimentary light breakfast and herbal tea.

First time trying this hybrid arm balance - Tittibhasana X Bakasana. Incidentally, the shape is very similar to humble flamingo that I shared 3 days ago if the pic is rotated a little. Ok, a pretty useless observation 😆
P/S: video on how I get into this pose on my IG Story as I forgot to include it in this post. But that led to the discovery of new filter “paris” which is so pretty 😁

Yesterday was awful. The worst day I’ve experienced in a long time. Nothing bad even happened though, it actually would’ve been a really amazing day had my mind not totally have taken over and let negative self talk hijack every thought. I mean, I got to feed a donkey (they’re one of my favorite animals) and instead of really just enjoying that I was instead focused on how my bloated period stomach looked to those around me, then I sat there criticizing everything about myself to the point of thinking “I never want to have kids because I don’t want them to be as ugly and messed up as I am”. HOW FUCKED IS THAT?! Those days are rare for me, thankfully, but still not okay. Today has been a lot better, aside from getting motion sick on a helicopter, but I mean, it’s cooler than any other type of motion sickness lol. I feel good today and I feel strong.
